You may not have heard, but there was a big election held last week. The main event – the election for the President of the United States, remains unclear a full week later. As they typically do, the media declared an “apparent winner”, but votes remain to be counted and several states fall within the .5 – 1% percentage point difference where an automatic recount is triggered or the candidate can request one. Lawsuits have also been filed in several states questioning irregularities and requesting the courts require an investigation of several thousand sworn affidavits of election fraud.
Troubling accounts of improper election procedure have been provided by sworn affidavit in several battleground states, including ballots counted after the deadline, USPS workers being told to collect late ballots and back-date them, poll workers being told to coach voters to vote for Democrats in some cases following them to the voting booths, observers being forced to stand 25-30 feet back from ballots and poll workers making it impossible for them to verify ballot postmarks, signatures, and ensure that duplicate ballots created exactly matched damaged ballots.
Last week, at a GOP press conference in Nevada, an old woman carefully stepped up to the podium to share the story of how she was not able to vote. A chill ran down my spine as she explained that she has always voted in person, yet this year when she arrived at her polling place she was told she had already voted and was not allowed to vote. Her roommate encountered the same issue. Nevada had mailed absentee ballots to all registered voters and this woman never received hers – someone stole it. They stole her vote. They stole her voice. They stole her right.
In a Fox News interview last week, Ken Starr shared the story of a recently widowed woman filling out and returning her deceased husband’s ballot because she knew how he would have voted.
Yet the all mainstream media maintain that there is no evidence of fraud.
In Michigan, Dominion voting machines along with software from ElectionSource combined to create a clerical issue that attributed Republican votes to Democrats. Antrim County, typically a Republican stronghold, had shown Biden winning which caught the attention of election officials who quickly found the error and corrected it. Dominion voting machines, as well as the ElectionSource software, are used in several Michigan counties as well as other states and creating a legitimate cause for concern among voters.
These examples highlight just a few ways election fraud and errors are shaping our country. Whether these things happen a dozen times or a million, the American people – in particular – the American voter, deserves to know that the election process and the systems used to compute the votes are 100% accurate.
The reality is our election system isn’t as sound as many want to believe. Just four years ago a multi-year investigation and millions of dollars were spent to verify that our elections were not affected by foreign bad actors. This time around the concern leans toward domestic interference. The American public deserves the same level of concern and in-depth investigation to verify this year’s election results.
This particular election offers a unique opportunity. An opportunity that everyone should be excited about – the opportunity for integrity.
After four years of “Not Our President!” chants, elected politicians calling for the far left to confront and harass conservative Americans, and a summer of riots, destruction, and violence, the media projected results of this election have the Left now calling for “unity and healing”.
And just like that the rioting and looting has ceased overnight. And now the half of the country that pummeled America like a battered wife is telling her to put on sunglasses, hide her black eye, be a good girl, and “come together as one.” Her answer? “Go fuck yourself.”— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) November 8, 2020
But this time, the conservative voters bruised and belittled for four years, should not turn the other cheek.
The United States of America – the epitome of Democracy – should take this very important moment in time to prove to both the Left and the Right that our system of electing leaders is as sound as humanly possible.
The word integrity has two definitions:
- the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
- the state of being whole and undivided.
Proving our voting systems have integrity in the sense of being “honest” and “upright” is the ONLY way our country will have integrity in the sense of “being whole and undivided”.
If we want to bring our country to come back together, the time is now. We’ve been given this contested election as a path to prove who we truly are and to root out those that are looking to manipulate and mutate our Republic to their benefit at the cost of the average American just hoping our voices and needs are heard.
Bottom line… this isn’t about fraud and recounts. It’s not even about finding out who is the legitimate winner of the 2020 election. It’s about proving to ourselves and the world that America’s votes count and our elected officials truly represent the vision we have for the future.
Shouldn’t every American want the security of knowing our system has the integrity we demand?
