Seeing is believing and admitting you have a problem is the first step. Since the city refuses to acknowledge the extent of the homeless, drug, and crime problem growing in Duluth, especially in the downtown and western Duluth communities – it’s time we show them.
When police are called, concerned citizens are told there is nothing they can do. Business is being affected in these areas. Leases are being broken as businesses move up the hill, private security is needed to make sure employees get to their vehicles safely, and customers are afraid to visit.
Meanwhile, the Mayor, along with city councilors Anderson and Forsman think it’s more important to speak out against the President and his supporters in the area. What is that doing to help anything?
If you see something while traveling around town that you think the Mayor and City Council should see, please share it to The Real Duluth Facebook page.
The intent of this page is not to harass or threaten, but to document and alert the city and citizens to what is happening in Duluth and encourage positive action to improve our community today and for the future.
